A Community of Innovators.
Our Mission
At The Fitch House at Founder’s Square, our mission is to cultivate a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring community of professionals by reimagining what it means to work, connect, and grow—right in the heart of historic Longwood.
Rooted in the legacy of a beautifully preserved 1888 historic home, The Fitch House blends the charm of a bygone era with the functionality of a modern workspace. We believe that workspaces should feel personal, warm, and thoughtfully designed—not cold, corporate, or cookie-cutter.
We Are Committed To:
Empowering Entrepreneurs & Freelancers:
Offering flexible, beautifully curated workspaces designed for solo professionals, remote workers, and growing teams. Whether you’re launching a startup or scaling your business, you’ll find the resources and atmosphere to thrive.
Preserving Community Heritage:
By restoring and repurposing one of Longwood’s most iconic homes, we honor the city’s architectural and cultural past while creating a meaningful space for today’s innovators.
Fostering Authentic Connection:
Through curated events, workshops, and organic networking opportunities, we bring together people who value collaboration, creativity, and community.
Providing a Warm, Client-Friendly Alternative:
Unlike corporate coworking chains, The Fitch House feels more like a cozy, professional home than a sterile office. It’s a place where you can confidently meet clients, focus without distraction, and feel truly at ease in your environment.
At The Fitch House, work doesn’t feel like work. It feels like purpose, comfort, and connection—all under one historic roof.

A Legacy of Innovation Rooted in Longwood History

Built in 1888, The Fitch House is a distinguished example of 19th century Florida architecture. Nestled in the heart of Longwood, this historic home was originally part of the early development that shaped the city’s downtown district during Florida’s land boom era.
The house takes its name from the Fitch family, one of Longwood’s early settlers and community builders, who played a significant role in the area’s civic and cultural growth during the late 19th century. Over the decades, The Fitch House has served as a symbol of resilience and reinvention—qualities that align perfectly with the entrepreneurial spirit of today’s innovators.
Lovingly restored and adapted for modern use, The Fitch House at Founder’s Square now serves as a dynamic coworking space. While retaining its original wood floors, wavy glass, and period charm, it also offers state-of-the-art workspaces, meeting rooms, and amenities. This unique blend of heritage and innovation makes The Fitch House more than just a place to work—it’s a space where history inspires progress.
